1. Scope
   These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: “Terms”) govern the use of the online store operated by Varga Business Consulting Kft. (hereinafter: “Seller”) and the purchase of jewelry products offered therein by consumers and businesses (hereinafter: “Customer”). By accessing the website or placing an order, the Customer accepts these Terms. These Terms apply to all contracts concluded between the Seller and the Customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Products and Prices
   The Seller offers jewelry products for sale. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are for informational purposes only, and slight variations may occur. All prices are listed in Hungarian Forint (HUF) and include applicable VAT. Packaging and delivery costs are shown separately during checkout. The Seller reserves the right to change prices, promotions, or discontinue products at any time, but such changes shall not affect confirmed orders.
3. Ordering Process
   Orders can be placed through the online store by adding items to the cart and completing the checkout process. During checkout, the Customer must provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact details. The Customer is responsible for the correctness of the data provided. The contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order by email. The Seller is entitled to refuse an order in case of suspected fraud, incorrect data, or unavailability of stock.
4. User Accounts
   Customers may create an account for faster ordering. The Customer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login data. The Seller is not liable for damages resulting from unauthorized use of the Customer’s account. The Customer must immediately notify the Seller in case of unauthorized access.
5. Payment
   Available payment methods include bank transfer, credit/debit card (via secure payment provider), and cash on delivery (if available). Payment terms are displayed at checkout. In case of bank transfer, the order will be processed once payment has been received. If payment is not received within 7 business days, the Seller may cancel the order.
6. Delivery
   Products are delivered to the address provided by the Customer. Delivery is carried out by courier service partners. Delivery times depend on product availability and logistics but are generally within 2–7 business days in Hungary. The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by third parties, unforeseen circumstances, or incorrect addresses provided by the Customer. If delivery fails due to the Customer’s fault, the costs of re-delivery may be charged to the Customer.
7. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
   Pursuant to Hungarian and EU law (Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.)), consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. To exercise this right, the Customer must notify the Seller by email within the deadline. Returned products must be unused, unworn, and undamaged, in original packaging if possible. The Customer bears the cost of return shipping. The Seller will refund the purchase price, including the original delivery fee, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Exclusion: the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made or personalized jewelry, products manufactured to the Customer’s specifications, or items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons if opened.
8. Warranty and Guarantee
   The Seller guarantees that products comply with the contract and description provided. If the product is defective, the Customer may request repair, replacement, price reduction, or contract termination in accordance with Hungarian Civil Code and consumer protection rules. The warranty period is governed by Hungarian law. Normal wear and tear, improper handling, or damage caused by misuse are not covered. For warranty claims, the Customer must notify the Seller by email with proof of purchase.
9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
   Customer satisfaction is important to the Seller. Complaints may be submitted by email to vargabusinesskft@gmail.com. The Seller will respond to written complaints within 30 days. If the Customer is not satisfied with the response, they may turn to the competent consumer protection authority or the Conciliation Board. Consumers also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Intellectual Property
    All content on the website, including product images, descriptions, designs, text, and logos, is the intellectual property of the Seller and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited without prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
    The Seller is not liable for damages arising from the improper use of the products, technical failures of the online store, interruptions of service, or issues beyond the Seller’s reasonable control. The Seller shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. The maximum liability of the Seller is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned.
12. Force Majeure
    The Seller shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, government restrictions, wars, or technical failures.
13. Amendments
    The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of the Customer’s order shall apply to that transaction. Changes become effective upon publication on the website.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary and applicable EU regulations. In the event of disputes, the parties shall seek amicable settlement. Failing this, disputes shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Hungarian courts.
